The second annual LPBC "Bowl-A-Thon for Liberty" was held on Saturday, 8/5/00 at
3:00 p.m. at Coal Creek Bowling Lanes and was once again a big hit. We raised
$540.53 without spending a penny of the LPBC's funds. Over 12 bowlers bowled, 23
people pledged (including several non-Libertarians and Libertarian
sympathizers), and there were numerous spectator/cheerleaders. Everybody had a
blast, including the two 7-year-old girls sponsored by Ralph Shnelvar. Most LPBC
members participated in some way, either by bowling, pledging or spectating.
